ST. CECELIA SCHOOL, CLEARWATER
St.Cecelia school participated in the national St. Vincent de Paul 5K walk for the Poor. It was a beautiful day at Phillipe Park. Father Diaz gave the blessing and thanked our St. Cecelia students for walking. Monsignor Foynes and Monsignor Irwin lead St. Cecelia School in the walk.
St. Cecelia students wore their beautiful new red t-shirts and walked behind our schools red banner. The second grades were well represented as Mrs. Kard and Mrs. Patterson's classes raised money and walked for their First Holy communion, pay it forward projects. All grade levels PreK-8th grade had our St. Cecelia student’s participation. It was the birth date of St. Vincent de Paul—His love for helping the poor was continued with all the schools efforts. St. Cecelia School was able to raise over $1,400.00.
